About Me

We moved to  OKlahoma  from California in June 2005.My husband Larry retired from teaching Jr.high school metal/wood shop for 35 years. I was an overnight express delivery driver for 20 years with DHL Worldwide Express. I retired without the $$$ I'll have to wait a few more years for that.. So I'm actually "unemployed by choice".  We have a small herd of momma cows, and 1 happy bull, 3 cats, 3 dogs & 2 donkeys. We grow our own hay so that keeps us busy too.(Yes I can drive the tractor) We have 5 children between us & 10 grandchildren ages 3 months to 19 years (8 grandsons & 2 granddaughters) they all live in CA. so we try to take frequent trips out there.  I keep busy with quilting & gardening, canning and taking care of my pets. We also have my 88 year old mother in law living with us. We have family in several states now so we like to travel when possible.

We hope to meet new friends around our area. I like being a WeatherWatcher, hopefully I'll get better at it.  Take care and Be Safe.
