well, ignorance is truly blissfull. last evening about 5:11 pm and again at 5:37 pm weathercall called our phone to warn us of the possibility of a tornado in the area. our electricity had flashed a few times so we lost reception on the tv and had to wait for the directv box to go thru its cycle to come back on. our telephones had been out since lunch time. whenever we get rain we loose our phone service, but i had a computer phone line that i was able to call out on for a short period of time.
it actually hit in blossom, tx, close to a friends house. was heading north to northeast and somehow managed to skip over our youngest daughters home, but it hit a barn on a ranch across from her house. it continued in our direction but must have pulled up again. you can't see anything from the road coming to my house but evidently there may have been damage farther down the road from us. i could see where the rain was rushing across fm 410 north between us and woodland too. the phone guy got us running again, till the next wet spell. if we had our phones working when the calls came i would have been alot more worried than i was. i guess alls well that ends well. hope you all have a wonderful evening. :o)
