Just wanted to tell about our census questioneer. The census packet was hand delivered last week to our front door. My husband filled it out that afternoon, I looked it over and was about to put it it's self addressed return envelope when I noticed the mistake. Our house address was correct (house numbers & county road) but the Town was wrong as was the zip code for my house. We live North of Tupelo, OK (our mailing address) but the census was addressed as Pickens, OK . There's a "Pickett"  just West of Ada, I thought it might have been intended for Pickett, but looking on the map I found that "Pickens, OK"  is  way over n the South East side of the state.  I found a 800 number on the census instructions and called it, after about 20 minutes of listening to automated voice comands I finally got to a real person, I explained the problem to the lady on the phone and asked if I should just draw a line through the mistake (Town & zip code) and the lady on the phone said No just throw it away. I asked How will we be counted and she said when they (the Gov) dosent get the census back from everyone (us) ?? they'll send out census takers to make house calls? sounds like a lot of cost for a simple mistake? Why would someone mis-deliver census packets to the wrong town/city ? Did Pickens get Tupleos census? or is there More misdelievered census out there?  my neighbor to the West of me was address as Pickens also, but  the town was scratched out.  My neighbor to the East of me (her mailing address is Tupelo)  her address was listed as Allen OK.  She called the same number and was told the same thing DO NOT RETURN the CENSUS questioneer. So I quess we'll wait & see what happens. Anyone else having this problem? or maybe just returning the Census with it Not being the town they live in? wouldn't this be a gross miscount on the towns population? If anyone knows how we should handle this plaes post a reply.Thanks
